Thing 4- Cloud Initiation
In this module I made my first Diigo account. Diigo is an online resource that allows you to save websites to an online account. After creating my account, I was able to add several bookmarks to my Diigo page that are all teacher websites that can be useful in the future as I continue to teach. I believe these websites will be very beneficial to use as a teacher someday and Diigo is a great resource to keep all of these tools organized in a central location. Here is a screenshot of my Diigo page and a link to it:

I also explored a program called Dropbox. A Dropbox account allows you to upload your documents, photos, or videos and be able to access them anywhere. Here is a picture of my Dropbox folder on my computer, and the second picture shows my Dropbox account online. This program is so helpful for staying organized as a teacher and keeping lessons and resources and worksheets all in a central location year after year, able to be accessed anywhere.
Diigo and Dropbox are really great programs to have not only for teachers, but for anyone. Diigo, which I used for the first time through these modules, is great for bookmarking helpful and resourceful websites specific for you. I know I will be using that to bookmark all of my teacher websites from this point forward. Diigo is also great for sorting and organizing your different resources. I keep teaching resources in one area, lesson plans in another, and so forth. Dropbox is another great program for saving documents, pictures, or videos to several different devices of your own. I use my phone and my computer most often and it is very helpful to be able to have full access to all of my teaching tools through Dropbox on each device. Dropbox allows me to save my important documents for teaching, and then be able to access them anywhere at anytime.
